"We believe the three amendments on this fall's election ballot will kill economic growth in Colorado, cripple services provided by state and local government, and doom education funding at a time when it already is dismally low.

We don't have the space here to spell out everything that's wrong with the Ugly 3, as some are calling them. But it's interesting to us that some of the most conservative Republicans in Colorado are opposing the measures."
